How to become an Umpire?
At Prahran Netball Association, new umpires are developed and mentored with the ultimate aim of obtaining their National Badges such as C and B Grade Badges. The first step to becoming an umpire is to complete the Section 1 Theory Exam and the Level 1 Umpires Course on the Netball Victoria’s website. Once you have completed these you are ready to begin umpiring. Beginner umpires can be identified at Prahran Netball Association by their blue vests “I’m Just New So I’m in Blue”.
