Registration for SCNA Representative Trials for our 2024 squads has CLOSED (closed on Sunday 1st October 2023).

Rep Trial dates for the 2024 SCNA Rep teams are:

15U, 17U & Open

• Round 1: Sunday 15th October 2023

  • 15 & Under: 8.30am - 10.00am

  • 17 & Under: 10.00am - 11.30am

  • Open: 11.30am - 12.30pm (one round only)

• Round 2: Call back only. Sunday 22nd October 2023

  • 15 & Under: 12.30pm - 1.30pm

  • 17 & Under: 1.30pm - 2.30pm

11U & 13U

• Round 1: Sunday 22nd October 2023

  • 11 & Under: 8.30am - 10.30am

  • 13 & Under: 10.30am - 12.30pm

• Round 2: Call back only. Sunday 29th October 2023

  • 11 & Under: 8.30am - 10.00am

  • 13 & U: 10.00am - 11.30am

participation requirements 2024:

• To qualify for selection in the 11&U, 13&U and 15&U age categories all players must play in an SCNA domestic competition team. 17&U & Open players do not need to be playing in an SCNA domestic competition team.

• Players age group should be considered by the age they will turn in 2024. For example: if you turn 15 in November 2023 you would trial for 17&U because you will turn 16 in 2024. If you turn 15 on 25th January 2024 you should trial for 15&U. If you wish to trial for an older Rep division, please contact us to discuss before submitting your application.   • 11 & under (born 2013 & 2014)

  • 13 & under (born 2011 & 2012)

  • 15 & under (born 2009 & 2010)

  • 17 & under (born 2007 & 2008)

  • Open (born 2006 and earlier)

• If you are selected for the 2024 Stonnington Storm Representative program:

  • we will be running an introductory training camp on the 20th & 21st of January 2024. Attendance is compulsory.

  • the first training session for the year for 13&U, 15&U, 17&U and Open squads will be on Sunday 28th January 2024. Attendance is compulsory. This is the long weekend, however competition matches start the week of the 29th January 2024 so teams must train beforehand. 11&U will start on Sunday 4th February 2024.

• as a selective and development program, we expect players and families to:

  • prioritise weekly training sessions (Sunday mornings or Sunday afternoons for Open), weekly matches (13U - Open teams) and selected tournaments throughout the year (advised once the tournament program is released). This ensures strong and consistent development for both individual players and their team and is fair for all players who make the commitment to their netball development and team. We have a 90% attendance requirement at both training sessions and matches. This is tracked and managed during the year.

  • be aware that training will always occur on the last Sunday of school holidays at the end of Term 2 & 3. Please plan holidays and player availability accordingly.

  • be aware that the weekly Rep competition that we participate in holds finals in the last weeks of school terms 2 (June) & 4 (December). The school term dates are defined by the Victorian Education Department (please note: these dates relate to public school dates which may differ to your own school and university holidays). Please ensure you are aware of these dates and plan holidays accordingly. We expect all players to be available.
